Rented the new Gold Wing from Fun Time Rentals in Pheonix, they had a good selection of sport and touring bikes. Good service - bike was like new - no suprises or hidden costs. Found them on the internet but there were rental places everywhere. Rented quads from Copper City Rentals in Wickenburg who also had Hondas and Harleys.
I was suprised by the mountains and canyons thinking Arizona was a flat desert. Great roads to ride and wonderful sight seeing.
Day One Calgary - Pheonix - Wickenburg
- Flew out of Calgary 1:30 PM
- Landed in Pheonix 3:30 PM
- Fun Time Rentals picked us up at the airport and took us to their office.
- Rented a new Gold Wing for the week. Brought our own gear and was able to leave the suitcases at the office. On the road by 6:30
- Wickenburg for the night 8:00 PM Stayed at the Best Western nice room next to the pool.
Day Two Calgary - Wickenburg
- Rented quads in Wickenburg and rode out into the desert - had a ball
Day Three Wickenburg - Goodyear
- Left Wickenburg 10:30 AM
- Lunch in Goodyear
- Spent the day in flea markets around Goodyear and Apachie Junction
- Wickenburg for the night 7:00 PM
Day Four Wickenburg - Sedona
- Left Wickenburg 9:30 AM
- to Prescott and on to Jerome great mountain rides on good roads
- Lunch in Sedona lots of tourist stuff and desert colors
- Wickenburg for the night 6:00 PM
Day Five Wickenburg - Pheonix
- Left Wickenburg 10:30 AM
- Lunch in Suprise
- Spent the day in Pheonix stopped at a Cabella's sporting goods - WOW
- Wickenburg for the night 7:00 PM
Day Six Wickenburg - Calgary
- Left Wickenburg 10:30 AM
- Returned the Gold Wing
- Got a ride back to the Airport and flew home
