Remove 1 bolt from the luggage rack. Remove paint, dirt, oil, and grease from around the bolt hole. A rotory dremel tool works great but you can use a knife or file. Put Fairing Repair on one of the ABS discs and put the supplied longer bolt back into the lugage rack and do up finger tight (NOTE: with the steel washer against the bolt and the chorme star washer on the outside under the luggage mounting leg. Do not over tighten and push out all of the fairing repair.

Run a bead of Fairing Repair around the outside of the ABS disc on the inside of the trunk lid. Do the same thing with each of the other 3 mounting legs.
